We KNOW our bells are of the highest caliber and quality compared to most of our competitors.
Using techniques passed down for many generations, our small family workshop wields iron, copper, silver, zinc, clay and flame to forge beautiful bells with a range of rich tones.
Each bell is crafted from recycled iron, beaten into shape, dipped in copper, then silver and then copper again and rolled in zinc powder before being coated with clay and baked under sand in makeshift kilns to create bronze.
This annealing gives the bells their unique voice and patina, which lastly are individually tuned to finish this completely handmade traditional production process.
The bells are then quenched in water to cool them and the clay mold is broken off. The bells are cleaned and then tuned with a hammer and chisel (the grooves on each side of the bell.)
Absolutely beautiful sounds!
These bells are traditional used to bring positive and cleansing energy to a space, scare away bad spirits and bring good fortune for weddings as well as to keep track of domesticated animals!
